LanceBendiksen Bendiksen is a true artist's producer. He leaves the unmistakable marks of art and professionalism on every recording he makes, and many have compared his style to those of Don Was, Quincy Jones and Glen Ballard. Bendiksen began his career alternating between touring as a singer/songwriter and a sideman for established regional and national acts. He performed in over 3000 shows before moving behind the glass as an independent producer. As Staff Producer/Studio Manager for Avalanche Recording, Bendiksen worked on numerous projects including national acts Sarah McLachlan (Arista) and the Cowboy Junkies (RCA) for KBCO's Studio C release and EP releases for their respective labels. Since then, he has produced hundreds of songs, demos, EPs, CDs and soundtracks. The quality of his work has earned him an Emmy™, several Telly's and Aurora's, and multiple Colorado Broadcasting Awards. Bendiksen has been written up in Billboard, the New York Times, the L.A. Times and music zines throughout the country. Recently, he worked with The Fray (Epic Records) as the Audio Producer for the live recording of their Dual Disc DVD which was recorded at Red Rocks.
