THEBARBERSHOP

The Barber Shop Studios is owned and operated by Scott Barber and Mark Salamone. Scott and Mark have assembled a group of professionals including executives, producers, engineers, designers, consultants with over 150 years of combined experience in the music industry. The goal of this amazing team is to create one of the most impressive and unique recording studios in the world.

Only 45 minutes from New York City, The Barber Shop is located on one of the most beautiful lakes in New Jersey. It is an ideal location to let your creativity run wild while enjoying the beauty and serenity of Lake Hopatcong.

The Barber Shop property includes a full-service marina and a renowned fine dining restaurant. Ample lodging is available in the immediate area to fill any long-term project.

 

DMA Studios is one of the only partnerships between a production company (Bendiksen Productions) and an AFM-affiliated music union (Denver Musicians' Association) in the U.S. This unique partnership enables the unity of quality studio gear, a relaxed recording environment, and a powerful business punch.

 

IMMERSIVESTUDIOS
Our Colorado studio of choice. Located in beautiful Boulder, Colorado, IMMERSIVE Studios is currently comprised of two distinct spaces, totaling approximately 7000 sq./ft. Combining a state of the art recording studio and live sound stage. Featuring several small multi-purpose/user editing and recording rooms with acoustic isolation, we use the IMMERSIVE Audio Rooms to capture, edit, mix and master great, professional sounding products.

 

SKYWALKERSOUND
Skywalker Sound is located in the serene rolling hills of Marin County, California, forty minutes north of San Francisco. Occupying the 155,000 square foot Technical Building, Skywalker Sound was built by a filmmaker for filmmakers, and is one of the largest, most versatile full-service post-production facilities in the world. Having won numerous Academy Awards® and nominations, Skywalker Sound was used for The Greatest Good film score and is our top choice for future high budget film scores.

 
WESTLAKE
With a total of seven studios in two locations and a huge selection of outboard gear, Westlake is well-known as one of Los Angeles' top hit-producing studios. Our producers appreciate Westlake for its state-of-the-art marriage of modern and analogue gear, as well as its proximity to top industry executives. 


PEDERNALES
Willie Nelson's hit recording studio is located
in the hill country of Austin and features the very same SSL and Neave consoles responsible for numerous gold and platinum records. When the Colorado winter takes its toll and our producers require a hit recording facility, Pedernales offers our company excellent production rates in a warm weather destination.  


STEPBRIDGE
Stepbridge Studios, located in the heart of Santa Fe's Guadalupe district, embodies the charm and soul of the Southwest. Our producers utilize Stepbridge when a recording project requires both an escape from daily distractions and an atmosphere conducive to making great art.


COLORADOSOUND
Colorado Sound is the one of the top music recording studios in the entire Rocky Mountain region. They provide top quality recording services for Bendiksen Productions' artists & producers, who utilize the studio primarily for its Euphonics console, B3 organ, C7 Yamaha grand piano, and collection of analogue gear.


GATEWAY
Gateway Mastering, located in Portland, Maine,
is home to mastering guru Bob Ludwig. Ludwig
and his staff have been producing the most phenomenal sounding CDs in the world for years. Gateway is a highly desired mastering destination for both emerging and hit artists,
and is among Bendiksen Productions' favorites.  


BERNIEGRUNDMAN
Bernie Grundman, the engineer and the Hollywood facility bearing his name, has been synonymous with quality mastering for more than thirty years. Grundman is a top masterer and cutter, with a truly legendary reputation.  He has become an icon in the industry and built up
a client list that includes many of the music industry's elite. Grundman is considered by our producers to be one of the finest in the world.


 
AIRSHOWMASTERING
Principal mastering engineers David Glasser, Charlie Pilzer, and Matt Sandoski have all won Grammy™ awards for their work. Principal mixing engineer James Tuttle’s work is heard worldwide every week, in the music mixes for E-Town (the radio variety show taped in Boulder). Airshow ‘s recent credits include many surround sound projects released in DVD and SACD formats. Airshow is Bendiksen Productions' primary mastering facility.            


QUAD
For more than twenty years, Quad has been Nashville’s premiere spot for recording some of the world’s greatest music. They are a first-rate facility outfitted with the finest equipment available. When Nashville is the clear choice for
a country music project, Quad is Bendiksen Productions' preference.


MGA Studios, a division of MGA Records, is a world-class recording facility located in La Porte, Colorado. MGA Studios is structured like a production company to offer affordable, competitive rates and is a Bendiksen Productions' favorite for sound design, tracking, and overdubs.


NOTABLYFINEAUDIO
Located in Denver's lower downtown, Notably Fine Audio boasts high ceilings, hardwood floors, plenty of isolation, and one of Colorado's finest C7 grand pianos. NFA provides Bendiksen Productions with a large tracking facility in close proximity to our downtown studio and office.
